Take the story that is the bane/hope of my existence: I'm stuck on chapter ten, know what's going to happen later, but just can't get past where I'm at now. However, I never have an outline (a downfall of mine) and I find it just as easy to write out of order.Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07107615955840756578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5218562477185734171.post-21810511021587672082009-10-22T21:15:08.966-07:002009-10-22T21:15:08.966-07:00I'm wondering if writing out of order really o...I'm wondering if writing out of order really only works best if you already have an outline.C Baileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07686080976624518524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5218562477185734171.post-69926506658364247112009-10-22T21:04:48.029-07:002009-10-22T21:04:48.029-07:00I'm glad we're all on the same page. =)I'm glad we're all on the same page. =)Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07107615955840756578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5218562477185734171.post-88460466815246957622009-10-22T13:27:29.000-07:002009-10-22T13:27:29.000-07:00I think what you describe is the best way to work....I think what you describe is the best way to work. I don't write novels but many long documents and never ever write these from start to finish but work on each one like a jigsaw puzzle. Just got to be good at checking at the end that none of the important bits have been missed out.Mcdrollnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5218562477185734171.post-28356552824529947082009-10-22T13:19:11.063-07:002009-10-22T13:19:11.063-07:00If someone asked me to write a story straight thro...If someone asked me to write a story straight through from beginning to end I'd probably implode. I'm on chapter 6, but I'm a little stuck. I have my plot all worked out, but I'm not enthusiastic about the scene I'm at. I'll jump ahead and then connect the dots.

Thanks Morgan!C Baileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07686080976624518524noreply@blogger.com
