Good news!
Peevish Penman has been at it for three years! It's like being thirty in blog years and it's time to celebrate with the thing that gets writers the most excited: A GIVEAWAY!

There's a free demo on their website if you're interested in getting familiar with the software.

SECOND PRIZE: A 5 PAGE CRITIQUE OF YOUR MANUSCRIPT
Winnie and I (Carrie) will both go over your first five pages with a fine comb hunting out any detail that detracts from the readers enjoyment and interest. When we're finished, you'll have a set of actionable suggestions in the form of a SWOT (strength - weakness - opportunity - threat) analysis and to work with to improve your work.
THIRD PRIZE: A COPY OF THE HANDBOOK OF THE WRITER SECRET SOCIETY
I can't reveal what you'll discover in the handbook, but the secrets of great writers and details of a terrible conspiracy are in there waiting to be unleashed by your imagination.

ReplyDeleteHi, the Scrivener (http://www.literatureandlatte.com/scrivener.php) is fine too, but I really like the non-distraction software like the TextRoom (well, works for first drafts).
ReplyDeleteI have to admit. I haven't used either. I've been happy with Write-It-Now plus there's something inspirational about the name.
